Re: THE TAKING OF AMERICA, 1-2-3
Thanks Bob I downloaded the book and have read it twice, hence my late reply , it's a very interesting read. I was really interested in the umbrella gun developed by Mr. Charles Senseney , detailed in the appendix. I had always believed the fairy tale that it was just a protest against Joe Kennedy, ...

Re: List of Withheld JFK Assassination Documents
Thanks J D Thomas and Ken Murray , I managed to get to the Mary Ferrell site where the 201 file is held. After a slow tortuous read , not sure if I am any the wiser. At least I now know a 201 is a CIA subject activity file and not an CIA employee file. The most interesting thing I found in the 217 pag...

Re: List of Withheld JFK Assassination Documents
Being British not exactly sure what a 201 file is , but if LHO had one from the CIA , does that not call into question the whole lone nut scenario. Particularly if the dates in the file pre-date the assassination date. Did not the Fletcher Prouty character in the film JFK say LHO had a 201 file but ...

Re: Secret Service's involvement in Kennedy's death
Thanks Ken they were even later for the Trade Mart than I though, just confirms to me they should have accelerated the car as soon as the turn was complete. It also makes it more difficult for LHO to be upstairs at 12:15-12:20 instead of being in the rest room.As a final thought if your duty is to p...

Re: Secret Service's involvement in Kennedy's death
Two thoughts I have on the SS involvment and why I think they were involved.First the crowd on Elm street had thined out to almost no one there ( not the 10 deep through town), the standard operating procedures have the limo supposed to be going about 40mph, so in theory once the turn was complete ,...

Thanks Ken for the link to the review really enjoyed it.I had read VP was writing an apology for the WC.It was a great review by Mr Hay of my favorite "Yes but " author. You read what VP saysand then ask yes but what about the things he ignores because it's too troublesome to dealwith. My f...

Re: Inexplicable Wounds made by Special Bullets
Came across this while looking for info on modern .268 bullets for the Carcano.http://www.kegisland.com/carcano-ammo-warning-65-prvi-partizan.htmlcommenting on the accuracy of the Carcano using .264 prvi-partizan ammo.think RobertP maybe gave this as well. Part of the single bullet theory requires G...

Re: Inexplicable Wounds made by Special Bullets
Found an interesting article about the wounds to JFK and Governor Connallyhttp://www.history-matters.com/essays/jfkmed/TrajectoryOfaLie/TrajectoryOfaLie.htmby Milicent Cranor In a 3 part essay she theorizes that the throat wound is an entrance wound , but that the back wound could be an exit wound. ...

Oswalds Bullets FMJ or lead
One of the arguments , had he come to trial , Oswald's defender might have used in his defense was to point out that no one could be found who remembered selling any type of ammunition to Oswald. Most of the little amount of Carcano ammo at that time available in the Dallas area was WW2 Western ammo...
