FROM: Knight Ridder News Service ~The FBI plans to investigate the purported deathbedconfession of a former Pennsylvania Teamsters official thatsays he helped dispose of the body of Teamster boss JimmyHoffa. The confession, said to have been written by Francis (Frank)Sheeran before he died Dec. 14 at age 83 in a nursing homenear Philadelphia, says he flew to Pontiac, Mich., in asmall plane on the day Hoffa disappeared, picked up Hoffa'sbody from the killers and drove it to a Hamtramck, Mich.,trash incinerator where it was burned. But the three-page document may turn out to be another falselead, like so many the FBI has tracked down since Hoffavanished July 30, 1975. He was on his way to areconciliation meeting with Anthony (Tony Pro) Provenzano, aNew Jersey Teamsters boss, and Anthony (Tony Jack)Giacalone, a Detroit Mafia captain."It's definitely a forgery - it's not his signature,"Sheeran's daughter, Dolores Miller, of West Chester, Pa.,said this week.Miller said she thinks the document was created by Sheeranbiographer John Zeitts of Omaha, Neb., to upstage a book tobe published in June by another Sheeran biographer, CharlesBrandt, a former Delaware chief deputy state attorneygeneral.Zeitts says his book is still in the works.Miller - who is collaborating with Brandt - said the wordingis strikingly similar to Brandt's earlier outlines, whichZeitts could have read during visits with Sheeran.Zeitts, 59, said Friday that the confession is genuine andthat Sheeran wrote it to clear his conscience about his rolein Hoffa's disappearance. The FBI believes Hoffa was killedto prevent him from regaining the Teamsters presidency andending mob access to union pension funds.Zeitts said Sheeran sent him the confession in November andhe forwarded it last week to Hoffa's daughter, BarbaraCrancer, a judge in St. Louis.Crancer gave it to the FBI and the Detroit Free Press.Sheeran, former president of Teamsters Local 326 inWilmington, Del., was a longtime Hoffa loyalist andconvicted racketeer who spent nine years in prison afterHoffa vanished. In 1975, he took the Fifth Amendment before a federal grandjury in Detroit in the Hoffa case. Sheeran said in the 1990sthat he knew who killed Hoffa, but denied personalinvolvement.Sheeran told Philadelphia reporters that he'd tell all in abiography that he and Zeitts were writing. It was neverpublished.Zeitts said in a phone interview this week that he servedtime with Sheeran in a federal prison. He said he was therefor sending pornography through the mail. The confession doesn't contain a title, date or witnesssignatures. It alleges:Hoffa called Sheeran on July 27, 1975, to set up a meetingbetween Hoffa and Pennsylvania crime boss Russell Bufalinoto resolve Hoffa's conflict with Provenzano. Hoffa calledback the next day to say that he had set up a meeting withProvenzano for July 30 and that Hoffa wanted Sheeran thereto "watch his back."That night, Bufalino hinted to Sheeran that Hoffa would bekilled so there was no reason for Sheeran to attend themeeting. On July 30, Sheeran, Bufalino, their wives and Bufalino'ssister-in-law headed to Detroit from Pennsylvania to attenda wedding.Along the way, Sheeran left the group, went to an airstrip, flew to Pontiac and got into a car that had an address inthe glove box.Sheeran drove to the address and was met by Provenzanohenchmen Salvatore Briguglio and brothers Thomas and StephenAndretta, who were suspected but never charged in Hoffa'sdisappearance."The deed had already been done," the document said.It said Sheeran drove Hoffa's body to Central States WasteManagement trash incinerator, located in Hamtramck, and thebody was burned.Sheeran returned to Pontiac and flew back to the airstrip torejoin his group."By having me in it, Russell was keeping me alive," thedocument said. "Important eyes were watching and Russell wasshowing that my loyalty was to him first and that I wouldnot be a `loose end.' And being in it, there was no dangerof me testifying."Days later, the document said, Sheeran met at a New YorkCity restaurant with incinerator owners Peter Vitale andRaffael Quasarano and others."After lunch, while walking to our cars, Pete Vitale told methat if I waited long enough, I could pay my respects toHoffa in the soot surrounding his trash incinerator," thedocument said.Miller said her father and Zeitts had talked for years aboutwriting the book, but never did.Several years ago, she said, Sheeran teamed up with Brandt, who had written a detective novel.Brandt wouldn't discuss his book or how its details comparewith the confession. The FBI said it plans to look into the matter."The case is still open and we run down any leads we receiveon it," FBI spokeswoman Dawn Clenney said Friday.---FROM: The Atlanta Journal-Constitution ~The FBI plans to investigate the purported deathbedconfession of a former Pennsylvania Teamsters official thatsays he helped dispose of the body of Teamster boss JimmyHoffa. The confession, said to have been written by Francis "Frank"Sheeran before he died Dec. You see, Sheeran NEVER said that he killed Hoffa. I believe his confession to John Zeitts is much more likely the truth. In that confession Sheeran says that he picked up the body ("The deed had already been done") and drove it to the Hamtramck incinerator. Zeitts said he got the confession in november 2003. Sheeran died on december 14, 2003. Te story broke to the media in march 2004. This is the first time that it became known that Hoffa's body was burned in the Hamtramck incinerator. Remember that I intervied James Files on november 18,2003, where he told me this: Note from Wim: The day before the video-interview, on November 18, 1993, I had a 4 hour talk with James Files and Pamela Ray. I brought the conversation to the murder of Jimmy Hoffa, and he said he did not want to discuss that. I then asked “But you do know who did that?” He said yes. I then confronted him with a book I had read, wherein a contract killer (Donald Frankos) had confessed that he had taken part in the murder and that Hoffa was killed in a home with a shot in the back of the head just after he sat down in a chair. Files commented that this was all “bullshit” and that “Hoffa was killed in a parking lot, in a wide open area”. So then I asked Files if he knew what happened to the body, and he said yes. I asked him if there was any merit to the rumors that the body was put in the concrete of Yankee stadium. Files said no and added: “I'll give you this: There is no body, his ashes are all over Detroit, but I will deny I ever told you that.” Again, this was well before the above article came out.So James Files knew that Hoffa's body was burned in the incinirator, 4 months before the story came out. Actually he knew in 1999 when he wrote Pam this letter: August 30, 1999, James Files to author in letter Did you ever see the movie, “The Jimmy Hoffa Story?” I think that was the name of it. It was out two or three years ago. Anyway, it was pretty close to real life, except the ending. He was killed by a young gun, but the car was not loaded into a tractor-trailer. It was driven away from the area and to one of the sanitation yards and the body went into a furnace and the ashes went all over Detroit and the suburbs. That is a fact. It was Pam who told me that Jimmy knows who killed Hoffa, that is why I asked him the question in november 2003. I don't think he told her who did it, but he DID tell Bruce! That is why Bruce posted this article. He bites his tongue over such a falsification of history by Hollywood.

Thanks for the real facts on Hoffa. As usual a lot less dramatic than Hollywood wants.

As for Richard Cain, it was Sam Giancana that ordered his death. Cain had tried hard to push Sam to the side and take over his territory while Sam had been in exile. When Sam got back and found out what Cain had been up to he was "LIVID" and he made a phone call and he was so up-set, it took him a while to stop ranting and raving to finally give the order. As for the Lady in Blue, there was No Woman in Blue with the two men and the two left alone. That is a FACT!!!(........)As for Cain, I did NOT like him, but I had to put up with him for the people in the circle. But then Cain messed up real bad. The Motive for his murder...he tried to push Sam G. aside and take over the operation. I know for a fact that it was Sam that ordered his death.Yeah Jimmy, the order was given to Chuck and you! On Cain, I do not know why he was killed. Whether it was ordered by Caifano, Giancana or the government or both. And whether I say Jimmy was the shooter, doesn't matter, as Cain's halfbrother Michael doesn't want to believe either. But I tell you about a sitdown I had with Files the day before the camera interview. I asked him if he were not concerned about being spotted by witnesses in a fairly open area as the grassy knoll. He said no and started explaining that when there is a shooting, people don't look, but duck in shock. Their instinctive concern is to get away rather than to observe and register. He then offered a further illustration: I've killed people in public places, even in restaurants. He corrected himself slightly by saying: Maybe that's not a good example because I was wearing a skimask. (This can only be the killing of Richard Cain in Rose’s sandwich shop)He went on to give me a rather funny anecdote. He told me he was stealing a car one day in public parking lot. And a very old lady came up to him and asked: What are you doing to that car, young man? And he answered: I am stealing it! So she said, I guess somewhat surprised by the frankness: Oh! ......Can I watch? And Files said: Sure you can!

And Files said: Sure you can!Good information there, Wim, you are a true patriot, getting the truth out to Americans, which is basically Dummyland. Of course guns firing on festive occasions is a time of shock, surprise and awe! Who could react in an effective way when it goes completely against the natural life?? When the first son, Cain killed his brother Abel, God put a mark on him so people wouldn't kill him like he deserved. Completely unexpected that Abel would get killed in cold blood. After that there has been one psycho after another, I hear about people's rage when I sometimes go to AA meetings. People are messed up so they need to treat it with drugs or alcohol, which are completely ineffective and make matters worse. They should humbly ask God for mercy for their insane urges. Contract killing is different. Organized crime knows all the methods, tools of extortion, tools of revenge, tools of torture and maiming and killing. They are tools of the devil, as no one has a right to take the law into their own hands, defense yes but not punitive revenge outside the law. I have become something of an expert at fighting back legally. Use the system to your advantage. I hear the Russian mafia is the worst.

Nothing will happen if someone confesses to a cold case that is US lore. There is no will for it, so I don't understand this thing about not turning in others through providing reasonable narratives of what happened that counter others. It boils down to evidence, and track record as being reliable and honest and supporting witnesses.

Cynthia, You did say a word to Kat. You asked: How are you doing, Kat? So Kat is your friend. I know you know nothing about your uncle Gary. Because all I know about Gary is from Jimmy. Or better said: from Janet. You see, Kat is my friend too. I think she/or he means well. But Kat is just wrong. There is no danger! Jimmy and Faith did not abandon you, did they? What the F is Kat is talking about danger? For you, Faith, Kerrie, Shawnn, Kathy? What does he know? If there is anyone in danger it is James Files! But he does not care! And I don't either! Cynthia, you don't want to know how many people have asked me: Have you ever been threathened for publishing the story of James Files? I laugh! It is time that you and Shawnn are going to help me, instead of sending me these messages. You know, it is much more worthwhile that his own flesh and blood, family and kin, says: Jimmy was a bad guy, but at least he had the guts to tell the truth for altruistic reasons! I love him, just like Wim and Bruce!
