Take it from someone that has done stand up comedy (for a year or so)...it is one thing to be hilarious when you are trying to be funny, but it's another when you end up cracking people up when you are NOT trying to be funny. That is David Von Pein. Von Pein's schtick is SO contrived, SO predictable, SO outrageous and SO full of untruths...that it comes off as funny. But not funny in a good way. More like funny being in a straight jacket in a padded room way.
