In case you missed it here is the podcast of the show. Plus Len plays the debate Lane has with WC Lawyer Joseph Ball that took place in Dec 1964 in Beverly Hills. Lane exposes Ball as a liar and not knowlegeable of the facts. It was interesting to hear the crowd boo and heckle Ball and the other 2 guys on the lone nut side. http://www.blackopradio.com/archives2011.html

Fascinating listening, on a socio-cultural level, as well as for the substance of the debate. Those other guys sounded like characters from an old-time black and white movie, while Mark Lane represented the voice of the new age. This was still the early days of the sixties. Men still wore white shirts (the pictures are better on radio) and those tightly-knotted slim dark ties like you see President Kennedy wearing and everybody, or almost everybody, is still terribly respectful of authority.Nevertheless, interesting to hear that people then weren't ashamed to admit to being "on the left".I don't think many do these days, not in England anyway. The nearest is that mealy-mouthed expression "centre left", whatever that means.EDIT: When Mark Lane is speaking to the radio presenter at the beginning, i.e. before we hear the 1964 debate, he mentions that it had later been admitted that the CIA faked evidence of Oswald's trip to Mexico City, the one where he is supposed to have gone to the Russian Embassy and the Cuban Embassy and supposed to have been photographed there.Does this mean that he never went to Mexico City (at least in 1963), and does this put into question that part of Judyth Vary Baker's account of his movements in that period? (his supposed attempt at dropping off the cancer-causing drugs to a courier for them to be conveyed to Cuba).

While Oswald may have gone to Mexico City once, I don't believe he was there when the WC said he was. http://whokilledjfk.net/mexcity.htm

Thank God for guys like Mark Lane and Jim Garrison who kept this fight alive in the early years after the events of 11/22/1963. Lane is still fighting the fight today. If there is ever a Mount Rushmore for JFK assassination researchers, both Lane and Garrison would be up there.

Let's not forget Mary Ferrell, Sylvia Meagher et al More seriously, I've listened to the first part of the '64 debate and half the second part - should finish up the rest in the next couple of days. Lane was, and still is, magnificent.
