I ate some pancakes yesterday morning, and I drank my coffee from one of the Ol' South Pancake House coffee mugs Joe was kind enough to send me. I never combined beer and pancakes. Just doesn't feel right. However in college, I once saw a roommate eat some Wheaties with beer. He called it the TRUE "breakfast of champions".
