I have one question. If the route was never changed, if the Dallas Morning news was in error, then why is the Warren Commission version of that front page grayed out where the diagram should be? Without perhaps investigating as thoroughly I should, I must still say that I've seen no declaration of intent to use the freeway at all. Granted, the freeway would seem more efficient, but maybe the plan was originally to use surface streets all the way or another on-ramp. How far is the Trademart from the entrance to Dealy Plaza? (Okay, two questions.)Come to think of it, maybe THAT was the "setup" reason for changing the route. " Mr President, the on-ramp isn't easily approachable from main, gotta detour." Maybe that's the reason Dealy was chosen in the first place.

Keep in mind what we are showing here is that when jimmy Files spoke of a change in the routeit is proven that he was correct as far as he was concerned.all the hullabaloo has been added by the research trying to prove that the route was changed to provide for the shooter/shooters to do their job.My '02Looking at the maps and studying possible routes, in order to get from the airportand to get through downtown the route chosen is in my opinion the easiest and best.Sorry I see no ulterior motives involved in the route. it was and is the best possible choice to get maximum crowd exposure which I assume is what a parade is for?And the most direct route at the end of the parade to zip up Stemmons to the Trade Mart. The maps showing the main street entrance to Stemmons is wrong and the only part that does not fit.anyone planning the original route and driving it would automatically know the Houston Elm St. jog would have to be part of it.unless they came all the way down Elm instead of Main. The reason for using Main St. was for better crowd control and spectator viewing. It is 2.3 miles from Dealey straight up Stemmens to the Trade Mart.was there other ways to get there? Sure but not as direct a route.whoever made the map for the Warren commission done the same thing the Dallas Morning News did. theynever checked the route they just made it from another map and assumed there was a Main St. entrance?Their map is wrong, DMN's map was wrong. Why? I don't know. efficiency I would say. There were many sniper places along the route that would have been just as good as Dealey.most likely Dealey was used because there would be less people around. In my estimation all the shooters could have made the kill whether on Main or Elm.According to reports the map was published at least two times and written description at least once.So Files could and would have checked the largest most respected newspaper in Dallas and gotten the wrong information two or three times. It worked. That is where the patsy was located. there may well have been patsy's in other places too?I spent all day yesterday plotting possible routes and in the end I had to agree with the route taken.

One thing that always puzzled me. In the Z-film where the head shot occurred, notice where Moorman and Hill were, the crowds is much less than before the motorcade passed by the Steamons sign. Why is that?

Notice too on that time line for Nov.17th. warning of a potential threat to JFK on his Dallas trip. Hoover knew about it and didn't do a damn thing. The bastard.

Dear Mr. Joe "Dealey Joe" Hall:Joe - Your research, study, and documentation on the two (2) separate, different newspaper reports, also different in Sequential Time Line Analysis, providing conflicting information is absolutely brilliant. Perhaps you do not truly realize the major significance of what you have unearthed. I do.You have answered and explained how one (1) set of actual facts could actually have two (2) distinctly different, but correct interpretations.Joe, you have my confidential mailing address information, My Friend. At your convenience can you please make the best photocopies of each article that you can, and mail them to me. No rush. Time is not of the essence. Preferably from originals in the public library, newspaper library, or microfiche would be best, if at all possible.I need to compare them both to original documents that I possess. Cherry Tree.Thank You, Joe.Respectfully,Bruce Patrick Brychek.

Why is that? That's a very good point, Ken.If you, and others here, take a look at film of the REST of the motorcade route before it got to Dealy Plaza, you see people crowding the curb and sidewalks. Even coming up Houston they are lined up two to three people thick. As soon as they get onto Elm...it's not like that.My opinion is that they were CONTROLLING the kill zone by keeping as many people as they could out of there just prior.

I agree with you pasquale. i want to bring out a point that col prouty says regarding the route. the secret service, had they have been trying to protect the president, would have never allowed the jog off of main street. the car should be going atleast 30-35 mph at all times to protect the president. it doesn't matter that the route was more condusive to crowd interaction, the safety of the president is the number one concern.just for the hell of it, I got on mapquest and pletted a map from dealey plaza to the trade mart where the president was suppose to speak and it plotted out at 3.05 miles. I started at the texas school book depository and guess what the most efficient way that map quest uses? 1. Start out going SOUTH on N HOUSTON ST/TX-354 LOOP S toward MAIN ST. 0.2 mi Map | Avoid 2. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto REUNION BLVD W. 0.4 mi Map | Avoid 3. Merge onto I-35E N/US-77 N. 2.1 mi Map | Avoid 4. Take EXIT 430B-C toward MARKET CENTER BLVD/WYCLIFF AVE. 0.1 mi Map | Avoid 5. Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto N STEMMONS FWY. 0.3 mi Map | Avoid 6. Turn RIGHT onto MARKET CENTER BLVD. 0.0 mi Map | Avoid 7. 2310 MARKET CENTER BLVD is on the RIGHT. Map | Avoid instead of turning right off of main, the map says to turn left and go to reunion blvd. now i started at the corner of houston and elm and it has you backtracking the other way. it is important to remember that the route would have been known in advance in order to place the patsy there 6 weeks before the day.

Good points Pasquale and Tom. That sharp u turn slowed the motorcade to a mere 11 MPH, plus those open windows at the Depository were direct violations of basic secret service protection.
