I am not saying the rifle in question was not a junker.could well have been.I am not sure which public record to believe.Who would go to do a shooting job with a piece of junk?Who would leave an inoperable rifle to be found? It would take a left hand shooter to shoot from the window down Elm.A left handed shooter would be MUCH slower shooting a right hand gun.this alone is a good reason Oswald never fired a shot.LHO was left handed.

Let's deal with what we know and not hearsay or conjecture-What we know is an FBI agent brought the rifle in front of the WC commission and testified it was inoperbale. That's good enough for me.Oswald did not have any gunpowder residue on his cheek after supposedly firing the rifle that killed JFK. It is a physical impossibility for a man to fire three rounds from a bolt action rifle and not have gunpowder residue on his cheek.Oswald's fingerprints were not found on the rifle.NO ONE saw Oswald fire the rifle at JFK, NO ONE.

Ken - great reference.Anyone who has ever fired a bolt action rifle knows the firing chamber is not completely, 100% air tight. There is no physical way for a human being to fire three shots from a bolt action rifle and not have some traces of gunpowder on their cheek. 100% of the time, a person who has fired a bolt action rifle three times in a span of 6 seconds, will have gunpowder residue on their hands and face, 100% of the time.

My belief, for the last 45 years, is that you can't go wrong if you stick with first hand evidence or eyewitness accounts. What do the eyewitnesses have to say? What did the witnesses say before the WC?If you haven't read thru all 26 volumes of testimony, you owe it to yourself to do so.Listening to someone's opinion should always take a backseat to actual testimony given under oath or to actual eyewitness testimony, even if they weren't called before the WC.In fact, many of the best eyewitnesses were NOT called before the WC because they painted a picture that didn't conform to the 3 shot, magic bullet, theory.

The JFK assassination happened because the conspirators knew that they controlled the environment in which the murder took place. The conspirators also knew the controlled the body of JFK and his autopsy after the murder. But more important than that even, the conspirators knew that they controlled the investigation...via the MSM and the government, not to mention the Dallas police, Secret Service and CIA. Somebody had to be the patsy...and LHO was determined to be the guy, although I'm sure there were a number of candidates.

Lee's not here

Post by Phil Dragoo »

Lee Oswald wasn't on the sixth floor; he was seen in the lunchroom, seen by Truly and Baker, not seen on the stairs by the women using them. He was not identified as being at the window; not seen with the rifle, ever, by anyone. The rifle was likely not ordered or purchased or possessed, used, stored, or transported by Lee Oswald: Gil Jesus and George Michael Evica have made the case. No print of Oswald's was found on the rifle (only a post-mortem palm print much later under suspicious circumstances). The Dallas police tested Lee Oswald's cheek and that paraffin test result was negative. The Oak Ridge atomic lab tested the rifle and found anyone using it would have barium and antimony in any paraffin test, then tested Oswald's paraffin cast and within the extraordinarily precise range of the test, found no trace, that is, final proof Lee Oswald did not fire a rifle that day.The rifle alleged to have been used had to be doctored for testing, that is, the missing screws had to be added to the scope; the scope had to be adjusted. The bolt was unusually stiff, pulling the sight picture off the target, taking additional time. The backyard photos were fabricated. A doppleganger made a big scene at a local firing range. Frazier pulled the curtain rod story out of his ass.No Lee Oswald in the sixth-floor sniper nest, Larry Dunkel, Gerald Posner, Vincent Bugliosi and the Hollow Men of the Warren Commission to the contrary notwithstanding.Lee Oswald didn't shoot Tippit; not with a revolver he didn't purchase nor pose with, not with a revolver with a defective firing pin given to him by Jack Ruby or planted as a throw-down by a Dallas police officer. The Lopez Report is still classified because it reveals the CIA tried to frame Lee Oswald using impersonators in visits and calls to the Cuban and Soviet Embassies in Mexico City.Lee Oswald's last phone call to John Hurt in North Carolina reveals his links to ONI, likely the first agency to use him after his 1956 enlistment. He was an informant for the FBI, and used in that agency's attempts to smear and destroy the Fair Play for Cuba Committee. As he was hooked up to CIA asset George DeMohrenschildt by CIA Domestic Contacts agent J. Walton Moore, and seen talking with David Atlee Phillips aka Maurice Bishop by Antonio Veciana in his interview with Gaeton Fonzi it is seen Lee Oswald was serving a trifecta of intelligence agencies, ONI, FBI, CIA.Not an assassin—just a patsy. Just like the man said.
