Why do I believe Jack Ruby was near Jimmy Files behind the picket fence as seen by Lee Bowers? Well, besides the description by Bowers, on the morning of the assassination, Files drove Johnny Roselli to a diner to meet a man. The man was none other than Jack Ruby. Ruby gave Roselli an envelope that contained important information, including bogus Secret Service IDs. As we now know, there were some fake Secret Service agents stopping access to the grassy knoll after the shooting.Plus, in reading JFK vs. CIA by Michael Calder, we learn that three witnesses saw Ruby running from the knoll area after the shooting. Jean Hill, J.C. Prince and Tom Tilson (an off-duty DPD patrolman). Tilson said the man looked enough like Ruby to be his "twin".Jean Hill said this...."I saw a man up there running, or getting away. He was right up there by the school book depository, just not at the corner where they say the shots came from, at the other end, right up the slope, at the top of the slope. I saw him go towards the railroad tracks, towards the tracks to the west. I just thought at the time, that's the man that did it."Finally, as Ken reminded me, Julia Anne Mercer identified Ruby as the driver of a pickup truck that was parked on Elm Street the morning of the assassination. A man wearing a plaid shirt got out of the truck with a rifle according to Mercer.

Bob why doesn't Jimmy acknowledge Jack Ruby with him? Both as taking the weapons to the site, as Julie Ann Mercer states, and as being with him when he was shooting JFK? I wish I could sit down with Jimmy and interview him one more time, as there is a lot of unanswered questions. What we should do is post what every grassy knoll witness saw that day. Like what Malcom Summers, Lee Bowers, Gordon Arnold, Beverly Oliver, Jean Hill, Mary Moorman, Julie Ann Mercer, Seymour Weitzman, Ed Hoffman, and etc. What they saw on the knoll that day before and after the shooting.

JDB4JFK, all I can tell you is that Jimmy has said a lot of things about that day in Dallas that I definitely believe. He has also not given out ALL the information he knows about either.But I do know that Jimmy DID say that he saw Jack Ruby in Dealey Plaza that day. That might tell you something.
