Dear Messers. Wim Dankbaar, Bob, Tom Jeffers, and Fellow JFK Forum Members:I am re-starting Vincent Bugliosi's "Masterpiece," Reclaiming History, for the third time. I am hell bent on completing it. It may take me a month or more because I am diametrically opposed within my own intellect. Emotionally, I have zero interest. Intellectually, I must read it, in an effort to understand it, if I am to analyze Bugliosi's thought patterns, intentions, and if I would criticize them, I wish to do so intelligently, and fairly. That said, has anybody on the JFK Forum read Reclaiming History ? If so, what are your analyses in part, and in total, please ?Comments ?Respectfully,Bruce Patrick Brychek.

Dear Messrs. Bob, and Andries, and Fellow JFK Forum Members:Gentlemen, Thank You both for your responses. Bob I only briefly skimmed your article. I will read it tonight. In the early 1970'S I attended a lecture by Mr. Vincent Bugliosi at The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois. Afterwards, I met him, and spoke with him briefly. In my humble opinion, even then, Bugliosi was a legend in his own mind.Bugliosi was hyping himself, and Helter Skelter, his book about Charles Manson, and the Tate - La Bianca murders, et. al.Charles Manson was crazy. The crimes were horrific. However, a group of Freshman Law School Students could have successfully prosecuted that case in my opinion. The case was great. Bugliosi became known because of the case.Bugliosi was not great. Bugliosi made the case no greater. That said, because every simpleton that I talk to about JFK asks me, "Have you read Bugliosi's Book ?", to which I must still honestly answer No !Therefore, I am hell bent on reading his book cover to cover. I re-started last night for the third or fourth time. I went back to several other books that I am currently more interested in. At this rate, Bugliosi's book may take me 3 - 6 months.Respectfully, Bruce Patrick Brychek.

Bruce Even if it was available in the dutch language,(faster reading for me) i would not be interestingat all.Who really wants to read a,new personal warren rapport number two, besides i think that is has absolutely nothing to offer is will also be wasted time.Who really needs a new boaring guy to tell you that if you have commited a terrible crime, in a court off law you absolutely could be declared inocent, if you keep determend focusing on the right things and verry skilfully ignoring or rejecting basics that would shatter everything in a thousand peaces.

Jim DiEugenio's seven-part review

Bruce, I second Bob's suggestion you read Jim DiEugenio's seven-part review rather than waste your life on Bugliosi's book.I did read Jim's review http://www.ctka.net/2008/bugliosi_review.html and enjoyed it.Likewise I enjoyed Harold Weisberg's Case Open rather than the insufferable Posner's because-I-said-so.I vowed that after the first of the Waldron-Hartman soma tablets I would not punish myself again.Bugliosi is a hired gun who created approximately nothing between Helter Skelter and his Big Fat Fruitcake No One Will Eat.While Jim's review is a seven-course feast for the mind.

Dear Messers. Bob, Andries, and Phil Dragoo:I totally understand where you are coming from, and I do not disagree at all. Reading Bugliosi's book for the sake of reading it is a complete waste of time.I would like to read it, analyze it, review it, and study everything deeply, with the total intention of destroying it. And then, I would like to academically eat the book and its proponents alive on The JFK Forum, all the while inviting The JFK Forum Members to help me. (When you seek to understand my intentions never forget who my best friends are.)On your mutual advises, I am delaying this yet again.Comments ?Respectfully, Bruce Patrick Brychek.
