I didn't do any "real" betting, but the race played out like it was supposed to. The Belmont should be interesting.

This is Proof of my theory why I do not gamble. Sure things become 50-50. I was surprized that Super Saver got boxed in twice with Calvin as the jockey. I would always bet against me, but again that would be 50-50.

Kirk i do not really understand why we wager?In horse racing for the ones of us who just play at itwe are lucky to ever get ahead of the game, certainlywill not take any big money so it must just be the race.i myself am not a gambler but I do enjoy playing the slotsand at best I might be a few dollars ahead?i just like the machines and now and then hit a nice payoff.

Hey Joe,I understand of course. It is fun, and adds to the excitement. I didn't say I never gambled, but I never gambled well. The problem I have with gambling is the other elements that are apart of it, and those that can't stop themselves. I know what you are saying.I am afraid if you gamble enough you are not going to come out a winner.there must be some greed buried in us that wants to be wealthy without earning it.an old boy told me one time he would consider his life a success ifwhen he was lying in state his friends would be standing around his casket saying how wealthy he was."and he didn't do a thing to get it"
