I thought he died quite a while back, like the late '80s. Coulda sworn I saw a spot on the news about it. He was one of my favorites. Quite the filmography. So, recapping here. We have a mega pop star (Who happened to be very popular with Saudi royalty, if only in the capacity of "court jester") dead of a sudden & unexpected heart attack. So far, we have not one but two famous (one infamous) names in the research community weighing in on the subject. Hmmmmm...

If I wanted to plant a spy in a royal palace, would I want a 007 or a jester? Simple! The jester! Why? Nobody gets closer to the monarch than the jester. Nobody. I'd want my operative to seem like the most vapid twit ever to draw breath. More likely to overhear something or be confided in that way.

Yes, Malden lived to the ripe old age of 97. Amazing. Here is a history of his film credits...
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001500/I also loved him in The Streets of San Francisco with Michael Douglas on TV.

Sat through the posner/matthews mutual jerk-fest. Pure vomit. Only thing worse were the comments made by the obvious shills in the "comments" section. This passes for news.
