I like to look at it from the other end; we know it went "all the way to the top of US government." For some people that means, LBJ, Hoover/Sullivan, Dulles/Helms. Who then got a lot of people to go along with the coverup using the guise of 'national security.'For others, there is still another level up. The ones who- among other things- own the media.
