I heard Doug again last night, and I have to say that the two MUST have books right now for any serious JFK assassination researcher, have to be Doug's book and Jim Douglass' book. I also hear that Robert Groden's will be unbelievable as well when it's released.http://www.amazon.com/Inside-Assassinat ... 919&sr=1-1

It was one of many I read in the early months of my interest in the JFK biz, and with everything I've learnt from here and other places since then, I reckon I'll get a lot more from a second reading.Cheers Bob and Ken; looking forward to listening to it.

Doug & Douglass

I just read Jim Fetzer's long post re Horne & Zapruder http://www.deeppoliticsforum.com/forums ... php?t=3041 which includes a link to Fetzer's interview with Doug Horne. Volume IV is next after Douglass.James Douglass' JFK and the Unspeakable paints the inexorable path our 35th president took to martyrdom for detente.Every action, every decision went counter to the prevailing Cold War worldview, enraging the military leaders. The CIA leadership had just been through World War II and been given the keys to the machine in 1947 and 1948.John Kennedy tried to circumvent that with some letters and emissaries discreetly dispatched to Nikita Khruschev and Fidel Castro. These are exciting times, as we see from Horne the how of the coverup, and from Douglass, the why of the deed. Not the first dark and tragic deed of rulers (see Shakespeare, Macbeth, Julius Caesar et al) but the first to be dissected in the digital age.In such an excellent lab as this, with its tireless technicians of truth.

I wonder if JFK's last words were "et tu Bill", as Greer slowed down and braked the car in the killing zone.JFK was surrounded by traitors, just like Julius Caesar.
