Hall of Fame/Shame voting

Okay...here is how we will determine our initial class in the researcher/investigator Hall of Fame and Hall of Shame. Later on we can do a Hall of Assassins and a Hall of Conspirators as well, plus add to these Halls. Some members might overlap the Halls like Allen Dulles. Simply list up to 10 nominees for both the Hall of Fame and the Hall of Shame. Once voting has been done, I will place the nominees in the various Halls based on an 80% vote overall. In other words, if 8 out of 10 people vote for Wim Dankbaar, then he gets in the initial Hall of Fame class. My math skills will need to be sharp, but I think I can figure this out.Based on that...here are my votes...Hall of FameMark LaneJim GarrisonRobert GrodenJim MarrsFletcher ProutyWim DankbaarMary FerrellOliver StoneCyril WechtDavid LiftonHall of ShameGary MackGerald PosnerVincent BugliosiDale MyersAllen DullesGerald FordDave PerryJohn McAdamsPeter JenningsJ. Thanks for taking this on, Bob, the results should be interesting and the continued discussion fun. However, unless I'n more coffee deprived than I've assumed, the process is,well, it's kind of silly. Instead of everyone making their own list of nominees, and everyone voting on each list (which seems cumbersome), why not have a MASTER LIST of nominees? This way everyone could vote on that master list once and be done with it.I can help put together that if you like.Or we could do it as you've proposed and I'll be a good soldier.Pre Buzz,Thom

I can go back through all the Hall postings and make master nomination lists for fame and shame, and then maybe folks could have a day or two to add any last minute entries we may have overlooked. Then a week for everyone to vote. But I've got a busy weekend, and I'm not sure I'd be able to get to it until Monday.
