Good story Thom. The CIA may be even more dangerous now then they were in the JFK days. That's saying a lot...but sadly I think it's true. No matter the evidence Thom...the LNers, like many of similar ilk, will never believe reality. Fantasy is more fun. A fantasy like Ronald Reagan was a great President.

When I first got into the media business, I was given some excellent advice...remember...people see what they want to see...hear what they want to hear...and read what they want to read. As someone who does some writing, that is DEFINITELY the truth from my perspective!

-I'm actually in a very nice little mood today- don't know why I felt the need to be so heavy.-Most of us realize how difficult it would be to convince someone that their religion is not the real word of God (if there is one). I think for many, perhaps most Americans, politics is a form of worship, and so any attempt to convince them of the opposing view is essentially futile from the outset.Nevertheless, truth is truth, and we need to keep putting it out there.

When it comes to religion, I really enjoy George Carlin's perspective...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gaa9iw85tW8You're certainly right about that. To convince certain people of the truth often requires a paradigm shift or the ability to see facts for what they are. People who just can't accept the idea of a government or circuit of power doing evil deeds is just not possible for some people because that possibility is not even entertained by them. They therefore come up with fantastic ideas, like bullets zig-zagging around (magic bullet) or steel-framed buildings (like WTC 7...that wasn't hit by a plane) just coming straight down in 6.5 seconds. I think it emotionally frightens many people to think that our society can be controlled by a greedy, self-centered, murderous elite. Then again, what do the facts and connections show us regarding JFK or even 9/11? The facts point in the same direction, and in the case of both JFK and 9/11, even to one particular family as being a part of BOTH events.

That's a tough religion for which to recruit!
