Funny Katisha. Barry Goldwater was a true conservative and he has to be rolling in his grave as he sees what the Republican party has become, especially with them trying to merge religion and politics, while spending and acting like drunken sailors, and being the exact opposite of what they preach.A side note, Hillary Clinton was once a big supporter of Goldwater, before she met Slick Willie. Here is the classic ad LBJ used against Goldwater in the 1964 Presidential campaign...

Plus, LBJ stopped what JFK was doing with the Federal Reserve as well. In addition, LBJ gets credit for the civil rights and medicare legislation that was passed under his watch, when really it was all started by JFK, and was being worked on at the time of his death.

The Goldwater-did-it thesis takes up about the last half of the book titled The Zenith Secret by Bradley Ayers. As far as I can tell, it was not meant to be a joke. This book left me with the impression that, once in the CIA, you are never really out of it.Sort of the same idea you can get by reading the almost hilarious Appointment in Dallas.Anyone who has read the Ayers book, I'd like to know what you thought of it.
