Well its nearly 01:30 this side of the pond and I have to go to work in the morning, so I think I'll turn in. Looks like the Steelers still have a hill to climb, but the Packers could get hurt by more injuries - It'll probably have all turned-out different when I wake up in the morning!

Congrats to Bob and his Packers. While I'm disappointed in the outcome, I still root for the Pack in the NFC. The Mendenhall fumble was the big play of the game. I think the main reason the Steelers lost was that Dumbya Bush was at the game.

Yes I saw MZ. Rice also, I'm sure that didn't help any.I thought it was a great game. Can you imagine if the Steelers could have put anything together the first half and that dumb blond had not sang, if that is what you want to call it.After thinking about it Mr. GreenBay might have orchestrated that and that horrendous half time Show? Show? just to jinx the Steelers? He is kinda sneaky you know.He might be in with the BUSH now after his kind remarks?

Yes...my feet still aren't touching the ground. Great game between two legendary franchises. Aaron Rodgers was the MVP and he SHOULD have had even better stats. His receivers dropped at least 7 passes, including a couple that should have been TDs. But as Ken says, the Mendenhall fumble was huge, as were the other two turnovers. The Packers turned each of those mistakes into TDs. I predicted 27-20 in my pre-game column about the Super Bowl, so I was off by a point in the final outcome. I did correctly pick Rodgers as the MVP winner though.
http://packerchatters.com/?p=23476It was a great year for football in the state of Wisconsin. The Packers won the Super Bowl. The Badgers were co-champions of the Big Ten and lost a tough, hard fought game to undefeated TCU at the Rose Bowl. UW-Whitewater won the NCAA Division III championship again.I expect all three teams to be good again next year too. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me to see both the Steelers and Packers in next year's Super Bowl as well. Also, the low point of the game, actually the pre-game, was seeing Dumbya in one of the boxes next to John Madden. I'm hoping that the people were cheering for Madden and not Bu$h. But we do live in a country with a lot of "we the sheeple" living in it. But even after seeing that disgusting image, I didn't lose my focus on the game itself.
