Gerald Rudolph "Jerry" Ford, Jr. (born Leslie Lynch King, Jr.; July 14, 1913 – December 26, 2006) was the 38th President of the United States, serving from 1974 to 1977, and the 40th Vice President of the United States serving from 1973 to 1974. As the first person appointed to the vice-presidency under the terms of the 25th Amendment (after Spiro Agnew had resigned), when he became President upon Richard Nixon's resignation on August 9, 1974, he became the only President of the United States who was never elected President nor Vice-President by the Electoral College. Before ascending to the vice-presidency, Ford served nearly 25 years as the Representative from Michigan's 5th congressional district, eight of them as the Republican Minority Leader. As President, Ford signed the Helsinki Accords, marking a move toward détente in the Cold War. With the conquest of South Vietnam by North Vietnam nine months into his presidency, U.S. involvement in Vietnam essentially ended. Domestically, Ford presided over arguably the worst economy since the Great Depression, with growing inflation and a recession during his tenure.[2] One of his more controversial acts was to grant a presidential pardon to President Richard Nixon for his role in the Watergate scandal. During Ford's incumbency, foreign policy was characterized in procedural terms by the increased role Congress began to play, and by the corresponding curb on the powers of the President.[3] In 1976, Ford narrowly defeated Ronald Reagan for the Republican nomination, but lost the presidential election to Democrat Jimmy Carter.Following his years as president, Ford remained active in the Republican Party. After experiencing health problems and being admitted to the hospital four times in 2006, Ford died in his home on December 26, 2006. He lived longer than any other U.S. president, dying at 93 years and 165 days.Warren Commission,In November 1963, President Lyndon B. Johnson appointed Ford to the Warren Commission, a special task force set up to investigate the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Ford was assigned to prepare a biography of Lee Harvey Oswald, the accused assassin.[39] The Commission's work continues to be debated in the public arena. In the preface to his book, A Presidential Legacy and The Warren Commission, Ford said the CIA destroyed or kept from investigators critical secrets connected to the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy. He said the commission's probe put "certain classified and potentially damaging operations in danger of being exposed". The CIA's reaction, he added, "was to hide or destroy some information, which can easily be misinterpreted as collusion in JFK's assassination".[40]According to a 1963 FBI memo released in 2008, Ford secretly provided the FBI with information about two of his fellow commission members, both of whom were doubtful about the FBI's conclusions about the assassination.[41] The FBI position was that President Kennedy was shot by a single gunman firing from the Texas Book Depository. Another 1963 memo released in 1978 stated that Representative Ford volunteered to advise the FBI regarding the content of the commission's deliberations if his involvement with the bureau was kept confidential, a condition which the bureau approved.[42] Ford was an outspoken proponent of the single-assassin theory.[43] According to the same reports, Ford had strong ties to the FBI and J. Edgar Hoover.

by Bob » Wed Dec 27, 2006 6:41 am Now Richard Nixon and Prescott Bu$h have some company in hell. The bastard lived TWICE as long as JFK. And he kept repeating his lies until the day he died. Like Nixon, Ford was a Prescott Bu$h political puppet. He was "placed" on the Warren Commission to be the eyes and ears of the FBI. He pardoned Nixon so Watergate wouldn't be thoroughly investigated, which would have led to the JFK assassination. His chief of staff was Dick Cheney. His Secretary of Defense was Donald Rumsfeld. A great American? NO! Like the current occupant of the White House, he was however, a great American traitor. http://www.jfkmurdersolved.com/sibert.htm"Follow the money." - Deep Throathttp://www.ctka.net/2010/perry.htmlhttp://jame ... om/2011/01 ... orist.htmlhttp://judythbaker.blogspot.com/2011/02 ... -bush.htmlBob

by Bob » Wed Dec 27, 2006 8:27 am Let's see. Ford pardoned Nixon for Watergate. Why? Because all roads led to the JFK assassination. Three of the Watergate burglars were spotted in Dallas that day...Bernard Barker, E. Howard Hunt and Frank Sturgis. Coincidence? No. Just a coup de' tat. http://crimemagazine.com/06/ford-jfk,1111-06.htm"Follow the money." - Deep Throathttp://www.ctka.net/2010/perry.htmlhttp://jame ... om/2011/01 ... orist.htmlhttp://judythbaker.blogspot.com/2011/02 ... -bush.htmlBob

by Bob » Thu Dec 28, 2006 9:09 am Not only did Gerald Ford help conceal the truth about the JFK assassination by distorting the facts on the Warren Commission, but he also added to that act of treason by two acts he committed as "President". First, he pardoned Nixon, which basically ended the Watergate investigation. What was the Watergate break in really about? Nixon, Bu$h & company were worried that the DNC had documents and photos linking them to the JFK assassination and they were afraid of being exposed. Thus the break in. How about this for a coincidence? Three of the Watergate burglars, Bernard Barker, E. Howard Hunt and Frank Sturgis (Jimmy Files spotted Sturgis) were all in Dealey Plaza in Dallas on 11/22/1963 according to witnesses, including police and CIA operatives. Secondly, Ford appointed George H.W. Bu$h as CIA director just as the HSCA was investigating the assassinations of JFK and MLK. Bu$h immediately stopped any and all cooperation with the HSCA. Why? Because all roads led to Bu$h, Nixon, Ford, Hoover and the rest of the co-conspirators. Gerald Ford, a great American? No. Just a great American traitor. Like the current occupant of the White House."Follow the money." - Deep Throathttp://www.ctka.net/2010/perry.htmlhttp://jame ... om/2011/01 ... orist.htmlhttp://judythbaker.blogspot.com/2011/02 ... -bush.htmlBob

Sept.11,1973by Pennyworth » Sat Jan 06, 2007 7:41 pm President Ford and Secretary of State Kissinger gave the go ahead to Suharto's invasion of East Timor and subsequent massive war crimes there, and the same Kissinger, who helped President Nixon engineer and then protect the Pinochet coup and regime of torture and murder, and directed the first phase of the holocaust in Cambodia (1969-75) ... The time was September 11, 1973. The country was Chile. The event was the bloody overthrow of a democratic government. And the criminals were Henry Kissinger, Richard Nixon, The CIA, and Chilean Dictator Augusto Pinochet. Pepsico, ITT, and other large U.S. corporations were also guilty parties in these crimes against the State and against The People of Chile PP
