Dear JFK Murder Solved Forum Members and Readers:Several friends contacted my about the 12.31.2012 National Examiner Cover Story. It's about a New Bombshell Book, The Man On The Grassy Knoll. The front page comment states that: "I killed JFK - not Oswald."I know nothing about the book other than what was forwarded to me. After Posting this Headline, and these comments I will proceed with researching this.But I also wanted to Post this and seek the input of the dedicated members here as I often do. I often liken us to a Great Research Engine in our own right.Moving On:Allegedly CBS 60 Minutes sent reporter Nancy Duffy to successfully attack the book, but she supposedly failed.The Man On The Grassy Knoll is published by Grey Knight Press, and can be purchased online for $ 14.95 from http://www.grassyknollbook.comThe book's author is only identified as John. He claims to be a CIA agent who was paid $ 150,000.00 to kill JFK. Todays equivalent would be approximately $ 1,000,000.00.Among John's claims I am told are that:* He is not proud of what he did.* LHO was set-up as a patsy. But LHO was too incompetent to kill JFK.* John's contact went by the name "Smith" which he assumed was phony.* John claims to be an award winning marksman.* John claims that he underwent a lot of specialized training for this mission.* Two (2) weeks before The Event, LHO was brought in.* When John was introduced he was told that LHO was part of the assassination team.* LHO showed off a "dinky rifle" that he allegedly purchased by mail order.* LHO was allegedly proud of his rifle and purchase.* John allegedly told Smith that LHO was a jerk who should not be a part of the JFK Assassination Team.* Smith allegedly told John that "he was the real shooter."* John claims that he figured out that LHO was being set up.* John claims that he did not know that JFK was the target until 48 hours before The Event.* John claims that Smith appealed to his patriotism, relative to The Bay of Pigs, Castro, and the fact that John's best friend was killed at The Bay of Pigs.* John claims that Smith told him that the U.S. did not really win the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis.* John was given Secret Service credentials shortly before the assassination. In addition, he was given shoes that were two (2) sizes too big.* John claims that Smith brought cigarette butts to the Grassy Knoll, and had John stomp them with the oversized shoes.* John claims the LHO fired and missed, but John did not miss because he was looking through his scope.* John went to a waiting get-away car after shooting JFK.* John claims that he was shocked by LHO's killing of Tippit, and then Ruby's killing of LHO.* John claims that he never worked for the CIA again, but Smith continued to contact him.Has anybody heard of, or read this book ?Comments ?Respectfully,BB.
