Russ Baker puts out some inside information regarding the upcoming Robert Redford movie which is about Rathergate. The movie is about the time Dan Rather reported that Dumbya Bush got away with going AWOL from the National Guard and how that led to Rather's spectacular downfall from CBS. Redford will play Rather in the movie.http://whowhatwhy.org/2015/10/15/crucia ... er-part-2/

What I wish is that someone would slip Rather some truth serum and ask him if he REALLY thought JFK's head was thrown forward when he saw Zapruder's film a few days after the assassination as part of that small exclusive crowd to screen it. I've always suspected him as being "bought off" by the powers that be in order to convince the public early on that LHO was the lone nut. Sorry for being off-topic as I am sure this incident won't be discussed in the movie.

Had it already been altered by the CIA? That's hard to say. As I've said many times, everyone who is really interested in what really was on the Zapruder film has to read Volume IV of Inside the ARRB by Doug Horne. Doug talked to witnesses from the CIA who actually had their hands on the film the very weekend of the assassination. There were two meetings. One on Saturday night and one on Sunday night. Each meeting had different personnel there. On the first meeting, Dino Brugioni was there. Brugioni was the Chief Information Officer at the CIA's pre-eminent photographic analytical laboratory. In talking with Horne and with Peter Janney several times, Brugioni said he looked at the original Zapruder film on Saturday night. Brugioni said the film that we see today is not the original. Especially with the head-shot sequence, which he said lasted a number of frames, and the brain matter flew upward and was white for the most part. There was definitely a shot from the front right, but the back-and-to-the-left movement was not as exaggerated as we see in the current version of the film.
