Thanks, Bruce for your extremely incisive comments as usual, and the point about the next generation cannot be understated I agree. I usually check out the Lew Rockwell articles daily which has had updates on the North Korea situation. Clearly any military action there would be a phenomenal disaster, and though I held out some hope for Trump in the beginning as an alternative to Hillary, not any more. Either the neo-cons are running the show or the military activists. Gutting the State department was exactly the wrong thing to do!!! Every involvement we have had in meddling in foreign countries has been a mistake, every single time the consequences have been bad.

It sounds to me like the NorKs are writing the storyline and not Trump. Trump is only responding to the threats by saying "we're ready" and "we won't rule out a preemptive strike if the threat becomes too real" which is far from the previous administration's policy of ignoring threats from all enemies (from N. Korea to Russia to Syria to Iran to ISIS). On a side note, the stupid things that Kim Jong-Un continues to say are things that even David Atlee Phillips couldn't conjure up to cause trouble. The guy is certifiable.
