AFTERMATH: MARTIN BORMAN AND THE FOURTH REICH, 1976 by Mr. Ladislas Farago
is an incredible Work of Art and Dedication that defies what we have thought of
many of the Nazi leaders at the ending and winding down of WW II with Nazi
Germany.
Many of the top level Nazi Third Reich officers escaped to Argentina and Chile with
the help of President Juan Domingo Peron. It is argued that Allen Welsh Dulles, John
Foster Dulles, and John J. McCloy probably assisted with blind ignorance in addition
to personal and professional gains/rewards.
Martin Borman, former Reichsleiter, head of the Nazi Party chancellor and secretary
to the Fuhrer celebrated his 74th birthday, June 17, 1974 in Argentina. He was living
on a secluded estate of friends.
Farago's list of Bormann's associates who survived include General Heinrich Muller, the
sinister and mysterious Gestapo chief, Dr. Josef Memgele from Auschwitz, Klaus Barbie,
the Gestapo Butcher of Lyons, Friedrich Schwend, the master Nazi forger, Herbert
Cukurs and Franz Stangl, thugs of the Final Solution and many others of equal ill repute.
My Commentary:
Germany Lost WW II.
The Nazis Won WW II.
This painstaking Work of Art about horrendous people surviving, escaping and totally
disappearing for decades confounds good taste, morals, and reason. Yet it is all exposed
here in the decades long carefully documented work of author/interviewer/investigator/
researcher/writer Mr. Lasislas Farago.
I am re-reading this book for the third time also along with Ms. Annie Jacobsen's
co-equal Work of Art, OPERATION PAPERCLIP: THE SECRET INTELLIGENCE PROGRAM
THAT BROUGHT NAZI SCIENTISTS TO AMERICA.
Obviously if you are interested in any aspect of Post WW II Nazis and this Subject Matter,
I strongly recommend/suggest reading both of these books consecutively and/or
simultaneously.
