interesting article brian. i think it is highly possible that there were planted weapons in dealey that day just to distract police from the real shooters and weapons. since the fbi was controlling the follow up, they could ignore anything they wanted and cause evidence to disappear. it certainly is an enigma.

i just can't quite believe factor's story. why would someone use a 30.06 without a scope? Plus lbj had too much to lose if wallce would have been caught. everyone knows he was tied to lbj plus mac was not known for his marksmanship. it took him 5 shots in the stomach for one of his victims. lbj had access to any number of out of town boys to do this job. mac might hve been sent in to scope out the area days before the shooting. his handprint was foud on a cardboard box and those prints do not last long so he was probably there the day before.
