POINT: 10. JFK LEARNS ABOUT THE DEPRESSION IN HARVARD, FROM A BOOK:

"Kennedy was aware of the disconnect. While interviewing candidate Kennedy for a Time magazine cover story in the late 1950's, Hugh Sidney suddenly asked if he had any memory of the Depression. Sidney had grown up in rural Iowa and vividly recalled the harshness of those days. 'Kennedy had his feet on the desk, and he looked across at me and he said,' Sidney said in a 1997 interview for this book. 'I have no memory of the Depression. We lived better than ever. We had bigger houses, more servants. I learned about the Depression at Harvard - from reading,' Jack Kennedy, Sidney told me, with some consternation, 'just hadn't encountered breadlines or bums that used to come to our doors and ask for handouts. He was the ambassador's son, and that was a very elegant existence. He was never in contact with the reality of the Depression."

08.08.2013Dear JFK Murder Solved Forum Members and Readers:04.14.2006 - I originally Posted this Headline, along with several others, that were previously lostwhen the JFK Murder Solved Forum was hacked several times in the first few years of its existence. I actually first joined right after Mr. Willem Dankbaar began it. I then rejoined, or Wim "rejoined me" each time after the several hacks.I believe that JFK, RFK, and many of the Kennedy's had major serious disconnects, and "FatalisticFlaws." My Opinion. They could not, and did not, fully grasp the reality of who they were, wherethey were, and the depth and strength of the perceptions of them, both Pro and Con. And they fully failed to grasp the "limitations on their perceived powers."To make this simple, I will call them Pro JFK and Kennedy Perceptions, and Con JFK and KennedyPerceptions. I will develop this more fully later under the other more appropriate Headline whenI have the necessary time.1. JFK learned about the Great Depression while at Harvard reading about it in a book.2. In an interview shortly after JFK was elected, JFK was asked if he had any "secret personalreasons" for wanting to be the President of the U.S. ? JFK smiled with his charismatic boyish grimand said "Yes, he hoped to learn about the aliens, and Area 51," if I remember the statement correctly. Then with a perplexed honesty he stated that "...this was when he found out that hedid not have High Enough Security Clearance." I have never forgotten that.3.
