But Connally won, and, had JFK made it to the speech, he likely would not have got out of the building alive.4)The command post would have authority to call stand downs for any and all locations?No doubt about that, and we would have seen it in the umbrella man keeping his umbrella closed. He was teamed with walkie talkie man. And we may safely assume Lansdale was in touch with all the moving parts and gave the green light for the shots. It is not possible to enter Stemmons northbound from Main, would have to be from Elm. I believe this route was the typical routing through Dallas for VIP traffic although it should have been eliminated by Secret Service protocol. Vince Palamara has shown other practices used in 1963 were abandoned by Secret Service personnel in Dallas. Horne indicates Secret Service destroyed records for 1963 as of April 24, the day LBJ first announced JFK would be in Dallas that year.Johnson and Hoover were neighbors and dined together in Washington on Wednesdays. Dulles would have been motivated by doctrine and animosity, and was a long associate of the Eisenhower-Nixon secret team. Braden was visiting H.L. Hunt, and probably moving in concert with Roselli, Nicolleti and others. The CIA Cabell would be in touch with Mayor Cabell who would be telling Curry and Fritz and the Sheriff how the cow would eat the cabbage.And to police up there was the whole Katzenbach-LBJ-Hoover-Warren operation.Not to mention Zapruder and C.D. Jackson (who was Ike's psy-ops guy).The Navy would control the autopsy with discipline by Kellerman.The unforeseen problem is the persistent human hunger and thirst for truth and justice.Young people without deference and old ones with nothing to lose.

I found something new to me (but most assuredly 100% old to you expert researchers) that Johnny Roselli, while in a jail cell with his cell mate, allegedly confessed to being a shooter in the storm drain on Elm Street on 11/22/63.I highly doubt this statement, as it would go against James Files' confession of him being the back up shooter ONLY because Mr. Roselli got "cold shoulder". It would also go against the viewpoints of many on this board that Roselli was with Nicoletti in the Dal-Tex Building.It's still very interesting, in my opinion.

Alec do you know which storm drain being referring to?There is one down on curb level that is im my opinion far too low?Then I believe there is a drain up on the paring lot near the end of the overpass.I have heard a lot of speculation about the drain but really have seen very little on it.Jerry and I will have to check it out soon and it is possible the drains have been modified

In regards to the Storm Drain, Jim Marrs stated:I have myself stood down in the storm drain which is located a mere six feet from the point of Kennedy’s fatal head shot. I could comfortably stand in this drain (I’m not too tall being 5’7”) and it would have been an easy pistol shot to a person sitting upright in an open convertible. Some witnesses said that one of the shots sounded hollow, had a ringing sound to it. And it could have been possible to leave the storm drain via a large drain pipe which connected to an opening behind the wooden picket fence on the notorious Grassy Knoll. But did a shot come from this drain? At the moment, there is not enough evidence to state yes, but it remains an interesting premise.An interesting sidebar to this speculation is the fact that in the 1980s a section running vertically down the Grassy knoll collapsed. The Dallas Street Dept. found that someone had dug up a section of this drain pipe and cut away a piece about 2 feet X 4 feet and replaced the cut section. But instead of welding the section back, whoever did this simply replaced the section on the pipe and over time it gave way causing a collapse at that point. There was some speculation that perhaps an assassin had stashed his weapon in the drain pipe and was retrieved surreptitiously at a later date. This drain was connected to the storm drain at the foot of the Grassy Knoll.

That the grassy knoll shooter "missed on purpose". Could the diversionary bullet be the bullet that the unidentified blonde-haired man in the jacket picked up that day? Remember, there have been photos of a man putting an "object" into his pocket after picking it up off of the ground.

UUUUHH! what exacrly would be the purpose of a diversionary shot?The drain would never be attempted by a professional for the simple reason of thetime frame that the shot would have been made in and the imposibility of knowing the position of the target.I have walked and studied the entire area and there is only one spot that the professional shooter would make theshot from the front. It does not take a rocket scientist to see this.
