A plea for specificity in topic headings.

Most of the topic headings in this forum are reasonably specific. I hate though when topic headings leave the reader clueless as to what the topic is about. This causes most people to waste time opening topics that they have no interest in.Here are some examples from recent topic headings:Heading: "Toasting Max"Suggested more specific heading: "Forum member says goodbye to a beloved dog."Heading: "What Do You Make of This?"Suggested more specific heading: "all but one U.S. presidents are related"Heading: "Something New Maybe"Suggested more specific heading: "New footage of JFK's arrival in Dallas." P.S. Very sorry to hear about Max the dog. I know how it feels to lose a beloved pet.

Now I'd better try to practice what I preach. This forum's pretty good. I've been on other forums where there are regularly topics like "I have a question" or "Help me please!"

I probably should have taken the time to make up some fictitious examples so as to avoid using anyone's posts as an example. Sorry about that.
