Yestrday afternoon, Thursday, and while on my way home from work, I passed a man walking in a westerly direction on Wood Street as well as I can remember about Good-Lattimer Expressway. I was headed in an Easterly direction in my car and this was sometime between 4:55pm and 5:15pm. This man I saw was a white male, about 5 foot 4 to 5 foot 6 inches tall and heavy build, not fat but large shoulders. This man was carrying a foreign made rifle, long blue steel barrel and a long yellow stock. This man was wearing a dark colored suit and was bareheaded. He was carying the gun on his right side in his right hand. As far as I know I have never seen this man before and I could not be sure that I could identify him if I ever saw him again. This man came out of a parking lot with the gun in his hand. I can not be sure if this weapon had a scope on it or not. I would say this man's age was between 35 and 45 years and he did not have glasses on./s/ Earnest J Owens
