THE SECRET TEAM, L. Fletcher Prouty's expose' of the CIA's brutal methods of maintaining
national security during the Cold War, was first published in the 1970's. However, virtually
all copies of the book disappeared upon distribution, having been purchased en masse by
shady 'private buyers.'

Certainly, Prouty's incredible allegations - that the U-2 Crisis of 1960 was fixed to sabotage
the Eisenhower - Kruschev talks, and that President Kennedy was assassinated to keep the
United States, and its defense budget, in Vietnam - can nothave pleased the CIA.

THE SECRET TEAM was an important influence for Oliver Stone's Academy Award-winning
film JFK and countless other works on U.S. government conspiracies.

According to Stone, while Prouty's version of history may be repressed, 'in time, he will e
ndure.'

After it initial return to the literary arena in 2008, THE SECRET TEAM is available once again,
this time with a foreword by Jesse Ventura, author of the New York Times best seller, American Conspiracies.

It raises the same crucial question that it did on its first appearance:

Who, in fact, is in control of the United States and the world ?

L. Fletcher Prouty served as Chief of Special Operations for the Joint Chiefs of Staff during
the Kennedy years. A retired Colonel of the U.S. Air Force, he ran the Global System
designed to provide Military Support for the Clandestine Activities of the CIA from 1955 to
1964. He was also the author of JFK: THE CIA, VIETNAM, AND THE PLOT TO ASSASSINATE
JOHN F. KENNEDY.

During his years of Military Service, Colonel Fletcher Prouty witnessed and interacted with a
deep-rooted mindset that convinced him of the urgent need for someone of his experience to
increase public understanding about the existence of a 'secret team.' The result is THE SECRET
TEAM, a rare book in American History written by an insider recounting his own experiences, not reporting from an anecdotal perspective. It offers uncommonly penetrating insight into the
Pentagon during the period of 1955 - 1964, centering on the Office of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

What Col. Prouty offers here is an education. It is an opportunity for the reader to understand
the political situation without the intervention of spin doctors or media omission, and deception. Because the situation has not improved since Prouty's nine years in the Pentagon, his assessment
is even more relevant today.

TO FIX A PROBLEM YOU MUST FIRST UNDERSTAND ITS ROOTS.

Consider 09.11.2001 as an example. Was anyone blamed for the lack of response ?

Was anyone fired ?

Did the Commission follow the money ?

No. When we learn of the activities of individuals like G. Gordon Liddy, Col. Oliver North,
Karl Rove, and others, or we read of the actions of private mercenary companies like Blackwater,
or the private and public agencies who conduct 'extraordinary renditions,' and other seemingly
endless mystifying revelations of public deception that drag on across the decades, it strongly
suggests that there is another team running things.

Col. Prouty was that rare person in a high position of responsibility in the Defense Department
to write specifically about these vastly ambitious individuals operating behind the national scenery
in pursuit of their own goals. He counseled reigning in Black Budgets because he saw and
understood how military equipment and personnel were used for Black Operations not approved
by the President or by Congress.

In important instances, he reveals that certain Black Operations were actually designed to effect
the opposite of what the American public voted for -operations which subverted the Constitution
of the United States of America.

When Dick Cheney claimed that as Vice President he was 'not part of the Executive,' he was acknowledging being part of something else - something outside of accountable government,
with its own unaccountable power and the ability to operate in Secrecy without oversight or transparency.

In other words, a Secret Team. To make such a statement to the Press revealed a Supreme
Confidence that he was above the law with regard to any sort of politically directed investigation.
It is as if he were boasting that others are in charge, higher than the Office of the President, and
they- including Cheney - know who they are.

Jesse Ventura is the former Governor of Minnesota and author of several books, including
AMERICAN CONSPIRACIES and DON'T START THE REVOLUTION WITHOUT ME.

He is currently the host of the television show ConspiracyTheory with Jesse Ventura. He lives in Dellwood, Minnesota, and Baja, Mexico.

Now we know that William King Harvey invented special teams those ad hoc assemblages of mechanics to accomplish special missions.

Prouty was a facilitator in the parlance of George Michael Evica, one between the anonymous sponsors and the faceless mechanics pulling the triggers.

Executive Action by Dalton Trumbo and Mark Lane seems to dovetail with the picture of the inner circle of officers betting on a sports event--and the small circle of conversationalists posited by Donald Gibson in his writings on the origin of the Warren Commission.

Picture if you will an idea put into effect over the objection of Lyndon Johnson and J.Edgar Hoover--who had that kind of juice. Gibson says Rostow and Acheson and a few others.

What would unite George Soros, Xi Jinping, Bill Gates, Anthony Fauci, and the heads of U.S. intelligence.

Trump tries to pull out of Afghanistan and over his veto is passed an act including a measure to prevent that end.

As though war is a racket, a powerful elite control the world, and the Constitution and common sense be damned.

But that's just crazy talk. Isn't it?

Aldous Huxley's Brave New World meets George Orwell's 1984 as a high level council uses fascist repression and hi-tech surveillance and propaganda to suppress resistance.

To what end? Likely the will to power is as old as Cain crushing Abel--despite what high-toned bovine excrement thugs exude to rationalize their diktats.

Again, one might well revisit the speeches by Ned Beatty in Network and Shooter to appreciate the thundering arrogance of the anonymous cabal.
