Greetings my friend, I hope that all is well, and that things are improving.

I'm going to the Friday Night High School Homecoming of Glenbrook North, in Northbrook, Illinois. My friend Jim McMahon's son, Zachary is a Junior, and the Varsity Quarterback. Then the Cubs vs. Diamondbacks Game # 3 in Chicago Saturday Night. And then the Bears vs. Packers Sunday Night Football Game. That's a whole lot of sports this weekend. Are you still in Wisconsin ? Call my cell phone if you are anywhere near Lambeau Field on Sunday.

Anyway, I started skimming these posts of yours. They look exceptional. I will read and study them this weekend and let you know what I think. However, my initial cursory review is that I agree with your assessment.

Bruce, I hope you had a great time at homecoming. In terms of sports, don't forget we also have the Wisconsin-Illinois game today as well. Good luck with the Cubs later tonight, while the Bear-Packer game will be pretty physical as usual. It is without a DOUBT, the best rivalry in the NFL. I guess that's what happens when two teams have been playing each other since 1921 and have squared off 172 times. Yes, I'm still in the Badger state through the weekend.

i have read joan mellon's book "farewell to justice" and it was a great read. you almost need a who's who book for reference as you read it because she spits out all these names that are sometimes difficult to keep straight. After about 30 years off and on of investigating the jfk case, i found it difficult to kep everyone straight so if you're a newcomer you may need to read it a few times for info to sink in. after reading, i understand now why bobby was so against garrison stirring the pot. he sent sheridan over to put out disinformation into the investigation to discredit the prosecution. he did not want anyone to uncover the fact that the trail led right back to the white house's dirty dealings with him sitting in charge. i have read that he wanted to be president so he could find out what really happened that day in dallas but i wonder if that is really true.

I also think there were several paty's being set up (thomas beckham for instance) to take the fall, poor lee was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
