Vernon must be scared

I read how Vernon double crossed Files...It seems Jimmy still has his connections on the outside...according to Files,Vernon tried to have him indicted...he went to Washington to pass along info...I wonder if Vernon thinks he made a bad judgement call on any of that...I think there are people out there who have no problem to help protect Jimmy.

It's interesting that in Wim's book "Files on JFK" you can read Jimmy's former letters to Bob Vernon, but not the letters from Bob to Jimmy. Let's hope, James Files and Bob Vernon have come or will come clean with each other in honor.

Chris...I've heard that ....I don't know about you,but I have relatives who think they know me and I haven't spoken to them since I was a kid and if you were a pain in the ass as a kid....they still think that...if you were an honor student,they think your still a genius...just from my experience ,I dont beleive the whole Vernon thing.

Jsnow, it's so right what you are saying about the behavior of relatives sometimes, but in your statement about Vernon you were not very specific, whether you would not believe what some say about Vernon or what Vernon says about somebody. Could you precise your answer and found it? To me that general behavior of first wanting to make a blookbuster story out of Files and then afterwards denounce him and others like that without real proofs but only collecting prejuidce as promotor to more prejudice is not that convincing. To me there is high veracity of Files', because of his authentic, unmistakable way of telling. Nobody who would lie could ever give the answers to the questions in such speed without hesitation. Obviously Vernon could not stand the pressure of certain pressure groups. Chris

Chris, I think Vernon can be figured out by my tag line and also the great line from All the President's Men..."Follow the Money". From what I have read and heard from Vernon tells me that is his only motive in life. I also don't see any ethical behavior at all. That is why he is now on the side of the disinformation machine, trying to discredit Jimmy Files and Wim. Why? Follow the money baby.

I too have had relatives think they know me because they knew me when I was a kid, and they know nothing at all. They're not in my life because I CHOOSE to not be in their lives. You can choose your friends, but you can't choose your family. Yet, the status of these "family members" is used as some sort of additional credibility as to what they're saying. Yeah, right!

if vernon truly believes that jimmy's story is a fake then he is guilty of fraud for selling his interest in a story that he knows to be false. either way the man's word cannot be trusted. if you listen to his interview of jimmy's aunt, he leads her and just has her agree with what he is saying. a few times she appeared to reluctantly agree with him. my question is what is his true motive for all his efforts to disprove jimmy's story?Namaste'
