Here's something that my girlfriend recently sent me. It's a news article, a Fox News article, about another American who has supposedly converted to Islam and supports Al Queda and spouting off all sorts of anti-Jewish language. Yes Bruce...I still have the email. Unfortunately, besides the injuries they knew I had in the accident...skull fracture, broken neck, fractured collar bone....I've also found out that I've had some pretty good back damage as well, with two severe herniated discs. I can't really do ANY exercise now that causes any tork on my back. That means no running, no throwing, no weight lifting, no golfing etc. I am going to have another MRI in February to find out where I'm at with the back. Right now, I'm only approved for walking only, and I've done at lot of that, especially when I was on the shore of Lake Michigan this past summer. However, I'm a partly sunny guy, and first and foremost I'm happy to be alive after that accident, being in a coma etc. Secondly...I CAN walk. Thirdly, if I listen to the docs, and stay patient, then maybe I can start doing some of the things I want to do on the list I mentioned previously. That also goes for the martial arts stuff.
