two bits of info i found interesting

hi guys i was visiting a few sites recently and came across a site that had a section on jfk and so had a look,i found two bits of info i found interesting(as they were questions i was looking for answers for quite a while)one was the question of who gave the police the description of the shooter from the sixth floor of the school book depository.it was released about 10 to 15 minutes after the assassination,the name given on this site is howard brennan(a steam fitter)i wonder has anyone seen the description given by brennan to the police,and if it actualy matches oswald.number two is the late lee bowers(who worked in a railway tower behind the picket fence area)he allways said he saw people in the area behind the picket fence(and then a commotion,something he could not explain)at the time of the shooting.he later clarrified in 1966 that two men were standing in the opening between the pergola and the picket fence(and that at no time was anybody behind the picket fence at the time of the shooting)i dont know if the site was accurate 100% in what it states.but if it has any merit at all it casts doubts on gary macks badgeman,also on james files story(that he was there and that he was alone,in total bowers said there were 3 to 4 men there at the time and within a few yards of each other)also if oswald was on the second floor(which we know to be true,within a maximum of 60 seconds aftrer the shooting)how could brennan(who could not have seen oswald) have given what seems to be the the most accurate description of him. i have two thoughts on this if the info on the site is accurate,number one is that in some way brennan is involved with the killers,and gave a false description(in order to lead the police to oswald)number two is he was telling the truth but actualy was mistaken and seen (the oswald lookalike in the building lovelady)if he was mistaken then lee oswald may be the guy at the front door of the school book building(and then went to the second floor cafeteria)where he was seen by the police man.as i say im new here and i thought these might be of interest to you guys,but i cant say the info on the site is correct.you can check it out here www.consciousape.com or here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/jfk_assassination .i hope its ok to post a link if not feel free to delete it.great forum guys talk soon i hope.

Hi piopat, you ask good questions, but you may find the answers to all of your questions, if you search this forum for the names you name and google for "mcadams+assassination+witness" where you can read all the testimonies of the witnesses and from where you can click to other jfk research pages like www.jfkassassinationforum.com for example. I don't know who the first description actually handed out. Howard Brennan's description did not match Oswald in all points and he rather feared to be threatened to death, if he would not make it more similar to the official LN-concept. What you say about Lee Bower's testimonies is partly incorrect, he spoke about two men towards the mouth of the underpass and cars patroling in the parking lot before. You can see his interview with Mark Lane on youtube for example. We don't know for absolute sure, whether Oswald really was at the second floor at 12:31. Maximum of 70 seconds Mr. Baker needed to get to the place where Oswald was. The man at the doorway on the Altgens photo looking like Oswald is most probably Mr. Lovelady, other witnesses and film frames confirm that. Why was Oswald not outside to see the Motorcade? My three bits of info i found interesting are the JFK related video collections on the internet, the interviews of James Files and the book "The Secret Team" of Fletcher Prouty. hi ken and chris thanks for the links,i will check them out.just to say on the site i mentioned when bowers said there were 2 men standing between the picket fence and pergola,he also said there were 2 others along the picket fence area(within feet of each other)but bowers said (quoting the site )they were not in that position during the shooting.i dont know as much as you are most people on this great site,but if that part is accurate,it cast doubts on files for two reasons(bowers said there were 2 men within a few yards of each other,files said he was on his own) and second there are more witnesses a deaf man(i forget his name)who saw more than one man(who it seems was offered money by the cops and the fbi to go away,but did not)as he wanted to tell what he saw.there was also gordon arnold(the senator traveling in a car behind jfk said he saw a man dive to the ground on the knoll as the shot was fired)gordon arnold said he was there at the time(when a shot went over his shoulder,and of course he dived to the ground)there is great stuff on this site and i look forward to many happy hours here.talk soon guys.
