my gut feeling is that there were many so called patsies there that day in different locations. after all, what would have happened if oswald got in a car wreck coming to work that day etc. the situation was as controlled as possible and the events fell into place that the shot had to come from the rear so all the evidence conflicting with that conclusion had to disappear. what i am saying is that maybe harrelson or holt or others were possible patsies and if oswald wasn't in place then there would have been evidence placing them where badgeman was and weapons planted in the train. This is why jimmy said it looked like a convention there that day. the power of persuasion cannot be underestimated especially if a good citizen was told that they got the guy that did it in custody and it cannot look like a conspiracy otherwise we might end up in a nuclear war with russia. the cuban missle crisis was just a year earlier.

You named Holt and Harrelson...amd I agree. We might want to put Jimmy Files in that category as well. It turned out that Oswald was the fall guy, but the worm could have turned for a number of guys in the area, with made up propaganda about them as well.
