Bob Woodward Watergate hero or CIA stoogie boy.Well we know his boss Katherine Graham was fully supportive of the agency. Indeed she loved them so much she made an address to them in 1988 extolling the virtues of keeping things secret from the U.S public. "We live in a dirty and dangerous world...There are some things the general public does not need to know and shouldn't. I believe democracy flourishes when the government can take legitimate steps to keep its secrets and when the press can decide whether to print what it knows."I think she's referring to the rest of humanity as the dirty and the dangerous, in this address to arguably the most dirty and dangerous rogues the world has yet seen.She was a horrible elitest and I can see how her husband voluntarily fled this life to get away from her. Sadly, he didnt shut her up as well and left us with her. She's no heroine, she's the brusing on the vein once the needles gone in, and the CIA stooge rubbing his hands at the sale.Lisa Pease has done some fantastic stuff on Woodward. And as I have said before and Dragoo will back me on this I/we advise you check out anything Pease has done seriously. I've just finished reading for the first time The Assassinations edited by Jim DiEugenio and Lisa Pease.Although I had read (and possess) many of the the Great Books (Meagher, Weisberg, Marrs, et al) I found everything as stunning as a movie trailer with King Kong unveiling a CIA DID IT banner.We've recently seen how Hsa Hsa Postington and Tina Talk set out milk and cookies for Epstein, Posner and Hany Farid.The state-run media continues to obsess on the hobby-horse of lone-nuts-cheaper-by-the-cabful (Lee, James Earl, Sirhan) sans motive, sans evidence, because-we-said-so.The only way the Warrenati can win is unopposed, with no limit on snowdrifts of pages, and no review of baseless assertions.Pos, Bugli, McAduck and Dunkley, put them in stand up at our Comedy Club and they'll catch a torrent of soupy pies and a final Laughton, "Were you lying then, are you lying now, or are you not and have always been, a chronic and habitual liar!"

The projector goes clickety click; Kennedy's head explodes and with it the idea that you can trust your government.Many books later, The Assassinations seems a summation, a plateau. But the trek up began with Mark Lane, and Jim Garrison, and Sylvia Meagher, and Harold Weisberg, and Robert Groden, and yes David Lifton, and Noel Twyman, and Jim Marrs, and Anthony Summers, and Jim Fetzer.Add seasoning to suit.Next in chronology comes Malcolm Little, Malcolm X, who called out Elijah for corruption and became a target of Rabid Louie who survives to this day, who lauded Gaddafi and Obama, who despite hot rhetoric is bedrock power elite. But I join a very talented writer whom I admired, read, and studied long before he joined the JFK Forum, Mr. Michael Calder, in humbly telling you that I sincerely, truly enjoyed your above referenced Post, and of course several others.I was in the 8th grade at Saint Ailbe Grade School, Chicago, Illinois, when James Earl Sutton killed JKF. I think that we are close in age.Phil, beyond your obvious knack and flair for writing, you do so much more.
