I've got Vol 5, Ken. Just did a quick scan through it.LBJ and Connally, or rather, Connally and Johnson, were deeply involved in planning the Dallas trip - "Luring President Kennedy to Texas". "The Luncheon Site Dictated the Motorcade Route".Secret Service 'perfomance' criticised. Secret Service malfeasance. Greer and Kellerman implicated. Hearsay (that's what Horne calls it) re Clint Hill saying when he got on the back of the limo "the driver had his gun out and it was pointed right at my face" (p1415).Then on to JFK's "private sex life", the hole in the windshield; windshield "swapped out" on the Monday morning (25th); destruction of key documents by SS; LBJ becoming VP; details of JFK's presidency and health; big-ups for Douglass's book; big-ups for JFK. I'm sure young Phil D can give us a much better summary when his copy turns up.

Volume V arrived today.I find the hundred pages or so of discussion of Zapruder anomalies convincing.Roland "Rollie" Zavada brought out of retirement by Koday at ARRB's behest for the authentication testing.So many anomalies, so many cases of Zavada insisting witnesses change original testimony.So many dismissals of contradictions by Zavada.Zapruder and his assistant say they began filming with the turn, but the turn is absent.Zapruder partner Schwartz saw the 8mm 15 times in the first 24 hours and saw the cone of brain and blood debris to the left and rear.Dan Rather and Forrest Sorrels saw the head go forward.The limousine stopped according to fifty witnesses (and Horne reprints Pat Speer's collation of many). Yet the stop was removed after the first day.The images in the intersprocket area, the punched numbers, the bracketing contradiction, the splitting contradiction, and more.Although tedious, I believe Horne has introduced a substantial probability that the extant film is not the camera original.And CIA suing for the use of the term Hawkeyeworks--you can't cook this off and serve it; 86.
