Powers was sabotaged
Prouty is pretty convincing on this:Gary Powers Flight Was Sabotaged To Fail! http://www.prouty.org/sabotage.htmlI remember how disheartening was the news. A wood floor-standing radio in my grandparents' dining room. Later, on the telly Khruschev beat that gay loafer on the podium, but Ike would not back down. There was a missile gap--we had more.Powers was offed in 1977--before he could talk out of class to the HSCA.Now Muslims blow up subway under Lubiyanka. There is never any karma gap.Medvedev is not beating any gay loafer. He does not look particularly happy.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P8BhRO4T ... h_response

Angleton burns U-2, Ike, Oswald, JFK
Film at tenKen, I read all of that Weberman wonderfulness. Angleton is said to have primed Oswald to provide the Soviets with the altitude information necessary to connect with a SAM.Nosenko is said to have been "unbelievably" fortuitous, appearing at the right time with the right information.A sidenote. Howard defected from Eldorado south of Santa Fe; his wife using a mannikin to fool the FBI. Flash forward to the FBI going to Wen Ho Lee's house in White Rock the bedroom of Los Alamos--getting lost, and being described to reporters as "young men on their way to an athletic event, lost and looking at maps."Angleton is described as a fool, lacking "the brains" to use Oswald. Certainly we may agree that Angleton and Helms had plenty of arrogance and assininity in their handling of Nosenko.I don't see that Weberman, garbologist cum laude, snapped to the more likely explanation--and of course, Posner doesn't want us to see:Nosenko was defector non grata because he was deflating the Plan B brainstorm of the great genius Angleton, that Oswald was a Soviet agent killing Kennedy for the Commies.
