Family of Secrets Reviewed by Jim DiEugeniohttp://www.ctka.net/reviews/family_secrets.htmlI don't see that the book addresses John Hinckley's strange attack on Ronald Reagan March 29, 1981.John's older brother was to dine with Neil Bush that evening.John Hinckley's father had oil business dealings with George Herbert Walker Bush going back some time, and which included significant help from Bush, and significant political contributions by Hinckley.I have read several references to then-NBC reporter Judy Woodruff stating a shot was fired from a railing above the hotel entrance, ostensibly by law enforcement, but which may been the sole hit on the president.

Wim, I have the book, as does my dad, who Russ sent an autographed copy to as he was undergoing a serious surgery near his birthday last year. I lent my copy to a buddy in FLA, but I can get it back if need be to send to you. But it sounds like Tom Jeffers has you covered either way. Russ is a very nice guy. In terms of the book, Russ doesn't approach a couple of subjects, one that Phil mentions for instance, plus no talk about Operation Northwoods and 9/11 either. Still, I enjoyed the book quite a bit.
