Dr Grossman was one of the Parkland Hospital neurosurgeons who attended to JFK in the emergency room. He has very rarely talked about his experiences and has only ever given three inverviews (as of 2008 at least). I heard this inverview when the show went out live and it has taken some time to track it down to copy.I have managed to encode an interview that he gave to the BBC in 2008. At first glance, he does not give much information that we don't already know about, but there are some points of interest to recent debates.Also, in terms of investigative journalism, this is one of the most appallingly inept interviews that you are likely to hear - shameful by BBC standards. Grossman may come accross as a Warren apologist, but I think that is this is unfair; outside of his recollections he knows or understands little about the case. After hearing the threats made against the Parkland doctors, I got the impression that that he is still looking over his shoulder every day - still scared after all these years.Two related points of interest to me, bearing in mind he was one of the two doctors actually dealing with the head wound:1. He clearly states the position of the head wound at the back of the head. Although he describes it as parietal, he explains clearly how to locate the equivalent location on your own head.2. He clearly states that they lifted JFK's head to closely examine the exact location of the head wound. This is important in that some recent arguments have postulated that the Parkland doctors were wrong in that with JFK lying on his back in the emergency room, they would not have seen the wound clearly if it was at the back of his head. Pat Speer, who's work I admire on many other issues is a key antagonist here, for reasons that I do not understand.The encoded interview is an mp3 file roughly 17mb.
