4th Pathologist at Bethesda - something else I missed

Post by JDThomas »

So much information exists about the case: some of it hidden for years, some disinformation added and much else is questionable or not corroborated. It still comes as a shock to me when I chance upon something which leaves me thinking that I should have known better. Most here I assume are well versed in the circumstances surrounding the incompetent or else deceptive autopsy undertaken on JFK at Bethesda by Humes and Boswell, assisted by Finck, the only forensic pathologist on show, but who missed the curtain-up start of the charade. What I did not know until now was that a fourth pathologist was actually present, but did not participate and only observed: Dr. Robert Karnei. Using the forum search facility against his name brought back ZERO results, so I assume he cannot have been widely discussed here previously also. The ARRB found him and according to Jim DeEugenio, in his review of Doug Horne's book, this is what he had to say:Karnei saw the actual probe that Finck inserted in Kennedy's back. He also says it did not go through the body. But beyond that, he insisted that there were photographs taken of this. He was clearly agitated when he was told those photographs do not exist today. (p. 127) According to Karnei, no exit for the wound in the back was ever found. He recalled the pathologists searching for one until almost midnight. (p. 128) So clearly, in opposition to Humes, the failure to dissect the back wound created a real problem. Finally, Karnei said that he did hear from someone that Humes had called Dallas that night to learn about Perry's tracheotomy. (p. 128) I should add here, John Stringer also stated that Humes called Dallas that night. (p. 165) By the end of the night, did Humes know about the throat wound? If he did, could he not admit that because the many probe attempts could not connect the back wound with the throat wound?-So another corroboration of a back wound as opposed to a neck wound.-Another corroboration that the back wound was probed AND that it did not transit the body.-A claim that photos were taken of the probing of the back wound, yet such photos apparently do not exist today or else any record of them, hinting at the destruction of evidence and the perversion of the course of investigation.-Another corroboration that Dallas was contacted that evening regarding the throat wound/tracheotomy. Since the Dallas doctors had gone on record earlier that day saying that the throat wound appeared to be, and they treated it as, a wound of entry, I find it impossible to believe that this information was not passed on to Humes.I find it hard to fathom how the ARRB could have kept the lid on this, in a manner as if to say 'so what?'

Good stuff, JD. If you have ever heard Doug Horne on either Black Op Radio or the Real Deal with Jim Fetzer, then you know that he was sort of on an island with the ARRB. Like we have seen with so many "commissions", most of the members did not want a resolution to the overall verdict put to us by our government. As in, LHO was the lone nut assassin. Doug had to fight through all of that. Just see this for example, as Doug writes about the Chair of the ARRB:http://insidethearrb.livejournal.com/11045.htmlBack to Dr. Robert Karnei, I found this (as did Abraken Linkin above ):http://www.history-matters.com/archive/ ... 05a.htmThe bottom line is this; If you truly want to find out what really happened at Bethesda the night of the assassination, you must get Volume IV of Inside The ARRB by Horne. It tells you everything. It tells you about a pre-autopsy procedure before the actual autopsy (if you want to call it that) was done. The dog and pony show at Bethesda that night was run by Roy Kellerman and Bill Greer (the driver of JFK's limo) of the Secret Service. Luckily there were witnesses like Thom Robinson, who witnessed both the pre-autopsy procedure and then the actual autopsy. Check out the notes that Robinson made about that evening:Notice that Robinson notes that there were two small shrapnel wounds on the face of JFK. This would because of the mercury bullet used by James Files on the fatal head wound. Files has said that the small throat wound was caused the same way. It was small exiting shrapnel because of the explosive force by the mercury round. That being said, I could see why the doctors at Parkland thought that the wound was an entrance wound. In fact, Wim talked to Robinson, who told him that the doctors at Bethesda tracked JFK's massive head wound all the way to the throat wound. I know some of you believe there was an actual throat entrance wound, which is why JFK lifted up his arms to the throat area. I believed that too for many years. But once I heard about Files saying it was small exiting shrapnel due to the mercury round he used in the head shot, I started to re-think that. For one, I have had some serious back issues. I actually needed surgery two years ago to replace a disc, as I herniated five discs in my back in an auto accident. When the doctor would examine and probe my back, or if my wife accidentally poked me in the back while in bed, I had the same reaction. I would raise my hands to my upper chest. Clinched fists as well. Just like JFK. I believe he was reacting to the back wound at that point. Secondly, you never see any blood in the throat area in the Zapruder film. Finally, if it was an entrance wound, where did the bullet exit?
