Forrestal was Under-Secretary of the Navy.Later in 1940 James V. Forrestal was promoted to Secretary of the Navy after the death of Frank Knox.By 1945 John F. Kennedy was Naval Intelligence (ONI) after the PT -109, and World War II Commendations.During this time James V. Forrestal became John F. Kennedy's Mentor, and the two became extremelyclose friends. JFK was in Berlin, Germany in the Summer of 1945 with then Secretary of the Navy, JamesV. Forrestal.06.24.1947 - James V. Forrestal was appointed the Head of The New Department of Defense.09.24.1947 - Secretary of Defense, James V. Forrestal was appointed to Majestic Twelve by President Harry Truman, along with Dr. Vannevar Bush, both granted the Nation's Highest Security Clearance reporting onlyto President Harry S. Truman, at his Direct Order, and Insistence.

Very, VERY interesting, Bruce. It ties back to Majestic-12 once again. Excellent information by Dr. Salla, especially the part about JFK being a protégé of James Forrestal. Also, the fact that JFK was a member of ONI. Wow! Talk about ironic! Guess who else most likely was an ONI agent before he became a CIA operative and a FBI informant? None other than Lee Harvey Oswald. Remember, that LHO was stationed at the air base at Atsugi, Japan while he was in the Marines. That was the base where the U-2 flew from. One had to have a top clearance to be stationed there. Speaking of new technology, the U-2 was a huge source of gaining vital information on reconnaissance fly-over missions, starting in 1955.
