He was a spook, knew all the tricks and ruses to avoid getting caught, as he richly deserved. He was probably the bag man in the Iran-Contra scandal, definitely the scumbag was "in the loop", not "out of the loop"! And the IRS was much more ruthless during his years in office, he pushed hard for the Iraq invasion in 1990 with all the opposition because the US had no reason to meddle there as we had meddled in the Iran-Iraq war siding Saddam.I was thinking the other day what would be an appropriate punishment for the criminal Bush head? I agree, Bruce, there is a lot of dirt on the Bush crime family, plenty of good books exposing their criminality, like the Baker book, I read the Stone book, at this point they are all derivative on original sources. We have likely images and background to GHWB at Dallas on the fateful day, even likely pictures of "W". The old man may not remember much at this point, as the proverb goes, "Quos Deus vult perdere, prius dementat". In a just world he would have been thrown in jail disgraced, same for LBJ. Evil just spreads when it succeeds. My uncle worked under Bush as an ambassador. Never heard any specifics, government workers don't usually become whistleblowers.
