I remember Weitzman as the Dallas police officer who identified the rifle found on the sixth floor as a Mauser, thereby flatly contradicting the official version.
So it came as a complete surprise to me to find on the bottom of page 131 of the book Kill Zone by Craig Roberts this little item of info:

Next in the rogues gallery was Bernard L Barker. Barker was E Howard Hunt's assistant in the months before the Bag of Pigs invasion, and had previously served as a Cuban secret policeman and double-agent under Castro. It was also Bernard Barker who was identified by Dallas police officer Seymour Weitzman, the first police officer to scale the fence on the Grassy Knoll on the scene of the Kennedy assassination, as the man who showed both himself and Patrolman J M Smith creditials identifying him as a Secret Service Agent.

I wasn't aware of this astounding fact. Does anyone know whether this has been corroborated by any other researcher?
Since Barker is a known associate of Hunt in connection with the Bay of
Pigs invasion AND the Watergate break-in, it seems entirely plausible that, if he were on the Grassy Knoll, his buddy Hunt would be one of the Three Tramps.
Anyone who has seen and worked the flimsy in the paperback copy of Weber and Canfield's Coup d' Etat in America knows that the elder tramp and Hunt's facial charactistics are remarkably similar.
Since it is well known that many groups were out to get Kennedy, the Hunt connection only means CIA involvement, and of course does not preclude other groups participation, including the James files theory with its Mafia implications.

Thank You for an Outstanding Report. Probably before your time on the JFK Forum, no disrespect, the JFK Forum was hacked at least 3 - 4 times.
Well over 200 of My Reports, and Books and Movies that I had studied and reviewed were destroyed. Long story short.

Two of my previous reports covered the second rifle found in the Texas School Depository. I have the actual news report in one of my old Videos. I will track it down and try to post it here under your thread.

Any help out there, please ? Does anybody remember what I am talking about ? I am out of town, and can't check my notes or IRS, Information Retrieval System.

I think Dallas Police Officer Roger Craig was involved with the "Marlin" report.

I will try to follow-up in a week or two.

In my mind, there is no doubt that Hunt was there that day. However, even though he does resemble one of the tramps, I still feel Chauncey Holt was the one people confuse with Hunt. But Hunt was there lurking near the Knoll I'm sure. Speaking of Watergate connections, Jimmy also ID'd Frank Sturgis in Dealey Plaza that day.
