The S&L scandal (Neil Bu$h was a major player in this) was from the late 80's when Poppy was President. The Wall Street scandal had been happening for many years due to deregulation and reared it's ugly head last year with a $700 BILLION dollar bailout under Dumbya Bu$h as President. Either way, the Bu$h family and their friends made a LOT of money (also through war profiteering and oil). And a LOT of the REAL people were screwed, bankrupted (the laws were changed under Dumbya to make bankruptcy very difficult) and put out of their homes. The rich get richer and the middle class is shrinking to a poor level.
