Off Topic: Why did the Company Ditch Nixon?

I'm just curious what everyone's thoughts are on this. From the Company's point of view, things were going reasonably well. Perhaps they thought he was getting too cozy with the USSR - certainly not good for the Military/industrial complex, but was there anything more serious for them than than that?

Hello JD, I have wondered that myself.pretty much the same crew at watergate as JFKI thought Nixon was pretty tight as an insider.Pissed somebody off a little. stayed alive anyway.that was more punishment than getting shot.Gerald Ford was one of the WC conspirators?
