Dear Global Forum Members and Readers:

GIVE US THIS DAY, 1973 by Howard Hunt is dedicated to Brigade2506. This is the Inside Story of the CIA and the
Bay of Pigs Invasion...by One of Its Key Organizers, Howard Hunt.

"Veteran CIA agent, author of 44 mystery thrillers, a man with a spooky fondness for masks and wigs, aliases,
surgical gloves and surveillance devices, Hunt stands out as the conspirator you'd most like to interview...
[He emerges] as a man with a keen, restless mind, a clever rogue with deep cynicism about human nature
and a casual view of death."
Harriet Van Horne in the New York Post.

"Tad Szulc, a former foreign correspondent of the New York Times who is an authority in these matters, has
read the entire manuscript and told me from Washington yesterday that the book contains significant new
material about the Bay of Pigs operation."
Gene Shalit on the Today Show.

"The Great Gatsby of the cloak and walkie-talkie set."
Washington Post.

"Operational head of the CIA's Cuban Bay of Pigs disaster."
James Reston, New York Times.

My Commentary:

Howard Hunt focuses us on the totality of the CIA Operational Mind set before during and after both the
failed Bay of Pigs disaster, and the Watergate break-in farce.

Today in 2026 Howard Hunt helps us better go back to the CIA's kaleidoscope of the CIA in the 1960's
and 1970's. He helps us understand the mind set and perspectives of the major focuses decades ago
because he was involved, in charge, and there.
