plagued B.C.C.I. (Bank of Credit & Commerce International).
*President Bush's close associate Judge Jon Lindsay, helped CIA agent and money launderer Robert Corson acquire an S&L which
Corson then bankrupted within months.
*The CIA pressured the Justice Department to back off prosecuting CIA agent Guillermo Hernandez-Cartaya, who defrauded an
S&L he bought from Senator Bentsen's family. A fraud indictment of Cartaya and his partner who did business with the President's
son, Jeb Bush, was later dropped.
*Mainland Savings, one of the biggest S&L failures, catered to numerous Mafia and CIA associates including the documented
banking activities of Walter Mischer, Herman K. Beebe (an associate of Mob boss Carlos Marcello), Marlo Renda (an associate
of the New York Mob) and Iran-Contra figure Adnan Khashoggi.
*White House Chief of Staff James Baker was closely connected to Mainland's owner and Baker's former law firm was appointed
by the government to investigate Maniland's demise - ultimately going nowhere.
*Money scammed from S&L went to fund covert CIA operations, including Iran-Contra and secret weapons deals."

Today our alleged Democratically Elected Representative certainly can not be believed nor trusted when then can so easily,
and repeatedly abuse, avoid, circumvent, destroy and trample on any assumed role of Checks and Balances, "We the People
..." are circuitously doomed. My opinion.
